BMW E92 M3 Overrated in 2024?

is the E92 overrated? Values are increasing and it's def the only and last V8 m3. I say last because everything going forward after the G will be electric.

Last m3 with a hydraulic rack, last NA m3, Motorsport derived engine, available with both a manual and a decent auto option with the dct, and timeless good looks. Sure these can be a bit finicky and expensive to maintain but a lot of very collectible cars are as well. Well sorted examples of these will absolutely be very collectible in the future, this is a very special car. Underrated

I owned, the S2000, E46M3 and now I own the 09 R35 GTR. the E46 M3 was simply amazing, the car had such a quality drives, it felt well engineered, and the clutch was butter smooth compared to the R35 gtr. and when BMW went with the v8 all the die hard BMW owners hated that, they wanted the straight 6. But the american in me and the E46 m3 owner in me loved that IDEA. I might have to pick one up someday.

I have an E46 M3, M2 CS and a 12k miles E92 and by far the E92 is the one to have if you can get a good example. I am even considering getting a higher mile E90 or E92 so I don’t feel guilty driving the one I have.

Too many people care about how “fast” their car is. Instead of how “fun” their car is. I got a tuned Accord with a K20 and that thing fucking slaps! I cant imagine owning a E92 that is literally the last M3 in the rawest form.

Unlike the other kids I am the only one who likes bmw M3s as they were like a staple of my childhood. It was the first car Ive ever dreamt of owning unlike those supra kids. Ugh
