DIY Boondocking RV Generator Fail How Not to Power a Motorhome
Показать описание
We failed to make enough power to keep us cool for the summer. With temperatures rising, Steven tries to see if he can keep his homemade DIY generator project cool enough to provide comfort. This has been a big problem as the temperatures warm up. This winter in temps that got down as low as -30, the Champion 4500 watt generator did a great job of providing us the power we needed to run electric heaters as well as give warmth to the rear fresh water bays on the coldest days when we had to make sure our onboard water didn't freeze. This is just one of the many problems we face as a full time RV couple. It seems like every week something major comes up that must be absolutely dealt with immediately. Which completely throws a wrench into the plans of our other projects that still have a fair bit of urgency to them like the roof for example. So the sooner we can figure out this generator problem the better. Because this list keeps getting longer regardless of how many things I think I’m checking off it.

If you have any ideas on a custom generator setup that I could try next in the space available in the rear compartment, I would love to see them in the comments section. We are still growing and learning as we live in our Winnebago. Advice, comments and any help is much appreciated. Thanks for watching!
