Today, let's build the best router table for your woodshop. My old router table was built into my workbench, which wasn’t ideal. So I’ve upgraded to the Woodpeckers router table and added some useful cabinets and storage. This is a quick and easy router table build that can be applied to most router table types and will keep all of your tools organized and within reach. Let me know what you think down in the comments!

Great video as always and the puns are golden as usual. Didn’t know I could laugh so many times on a shop video

I would have to say largest and heaviest thing on casters is my workbench/assembly table. I would love to upgrade to a new router table with a lift - buy once….cry once! My motto as well, but the saving up for a year between tools is BRUTAL!

Hi! largest machine on castors in my workshop is about 800kg, and all others that are on castors are about that or a bit lighter. I move them every day, and it is not a problem, they move with ease. The wheels are the best, very strong and durable. I have machines that are fixed but those I do not want to move because there is no need for that.

Well Done! I have the 27" x 43" table on order and would be interested in the plans you mentioned in your post.

I chamfered the bejeezus out of my thumb last summer with a chamfer bit. Hurt like hell. Just barely missed bone so fortunately made full recovery. Did it with the same palm router you used in this video. A couple weeks later, Katz-Moses released his router review video, saying that router was most unsafe. Bought a new palm router after seeing that video…and also because my wife was traumatized from cleaning thumb bits out of the router while I was at the hospital, so didn’t want her to have to look at it again 😂

Hello, I'm considering ordering this router table. Quick question for you, do you find the downdraft cabinet useful at all? Thank you for your time.

Love the humour in this video.
I, personally, have no quarrels with pocket holes. I love them.
Also, I feel a double Roman ogee bit might hurt the most. Firstly, your fingers get shaped like the bit, and secondly, you have to live with the pain that you used the ugly double Roman ogee bit.

Great build. What is the height of your router table?

Great job! I'm finishing up my own router table upgrade. Curious, what microphone are you using for voice over?

Another nice video. Though too many calls for comments. Though I know it drives the algorithm 😎

I know this came out a while ago, hopefully you see this. What screws did you use to secure the router plate to the top? I can't find the right screw anywhere.
