Brandon strikes again. These last 2 videos have been brilliant. Things I've been trying to teach my students for a while now. Also really like how you incorporate 7ths Into your sweeps instead of the overused and abused triads. Triads are still great don't get me wrong. The backbone to so much texture and flavor from one song to the next. It lets you as Synyster Gates says "create your own weather"

This should be called "Sweep Picking, the Missing Lesson". Really helpful and I've studied Petrucci and Jason Becker stuff. I learned quite a bit here, despite having been at this technique for years.

I’ve been looking for a good well structured sweep picking lesson ever since I was a kid reading Frank Gambale lessons in Guitar Player magazine in 1988. Your video is rockin.
