NERF NEWS: UNRELEASED STAR WARS VII HAN SOLO/REY BLASTERS

In all seriousness, these blasters looks sweet both as a rare treat for a star wars fan and for an experienced nerfer like myself. I can't wait to lay my scruffy nerf herder hands on them.

Han Solo's original pistol wasn't just based on a Mauser; In my eyes, it indeed used a Mauser as a base, without using any ammunition. This wouldn't be the only time George Lucas had done with with an iconic firearm from the series; Boba Fett's cherished rifle started out as Webley & Scott 1914 Mk 1 flare gun, which they tacked on all the accessories to make it look like it belonged in the Star Wars universe... I remember things that pique my interest.

More relevant to the video, Drac, I don't blame you for the spoiler, considering how light you kept it, and I know you're gonna paint that Han Solo pistol as soon as you get it. DOOOO EEEET :D

Hans blaster isn't based on a C96 Mauser, it's built from one. It's a mauser with a scope and other stuff added to it to make it look all futuristic.

Reys pistol looks awesome. I love the simplicity and Mauser look. Plus and internal magazine! Star Wars This isn't even out yet and it's my new favorite secondary

Those look pretty fantastic. Not 100% accurate obviously, but should be easy enough to modify. I'll definitely have to pick both of these up and give them better paint jobs.

BTW Han's blaster was actually made taking a Mauser replica and adding parts onto it.

with you talking about star wars it reminded me that over the weekend my family and I just watched all of the star wars movies but we have not seen the new one we are going to watch it after Christmas so we will see it very soon and I will know what you are talking about.

Han Solo's blaster prop was a modified Mauser c96 if I'm not mistaken. So "loosely based on" wouldn't be the best term.
