Really helpful video on driving tips. Your video on anything is remarkable and the way you teach is appreciable. I was procrastinated listening off the English language, but after listening your accent I can understand it efforlessly. 👍

Hi Anne-Marie,
Commenting on this very useful episode and lesson, I'm a new immigrant to the US for less than a year. While I'm in my journey of finding a suitable job, I'm doing a survival job of #Food_Delivery . In which most of the time, I'm depending on the mobile app and the GPS to help me deliver the food to those who ordered it. As you just mentioned, sometimes GPS leads me to nowhere, or to an inaccurate location far from the correct address. When the customer gets aware of this problem, they tend to send me a text or write it in the app instructions that I have to follow certain directions in order to arrive safely to their residences. At first, I get a little confused about some of the terms they used. But, by the time, I get used to these words. Just like what you've mentioned in the lesson here. Like, (You have to drive down the road), In your left you'll find a dial box, the code is (so & so). Upon arrival, stay beside the entrance gate and call, I'll come down to pick up the food. (When arrived, please leave the food in front of the door)
Please don't knock, just call or text. And so on.

Thanks again for this valuable lesson.

Bonjour Anne-Marie ! I enjoyed that useful lesson. We all need to deal with directions and things like that when we travel or on a daily basis. I’m gonna feel more confident to use phrasal verbs like to drop me off, to pick me up etc. I also notice vocabulary like heading to somewhere, expressions like would you mind to give me a ride etc. It’s a very good reminder, especially for me cause I’m leaving to Dominican Republic on Saturday 😎🌴Of course Spanish is the language spoken out there but English is the language to know when you travel anywhere in the world. It’s probably the most popular second language on earth ?!

Always a pleasure to hear your peaceful and inspiring voice and to see you smiling all at the same time :). When you like what you do that’s the way it is !! Have a good one ! Steve

Thank you very much for your fantastic video and the content selection. My question is “is these a way to listen you slowly?” I try to repeat you right after your talk. By doing that I may be able to learn flow and rhythm of the speaking English. I really love the way you talk.
Thank you for your consideration in advance!

Hi Ann Marie. I'm from Spain. I love your videos. Where are you from? You have a nice accent. I'd like you to do a video about pronunciation. It's very difficult for Spanish speakers to get a good pronunciation in English.
