Terraforming Mars is a top 3 game for me. I know it is trendy right now to dunk on it because it's older and Ares Expedition and Ark Nova make it "obsolete" (they don't by the way), but it really is just the king of long form engine builders.

There are plenty of excellent fan expansions to draw inspiration from as well. I especially recommend the "Ares expansion" (not to be confused with Ares Expedition). It essentially makes the central map more interactive and further incentivizes investment on the planet surface.

I look forward to seeing more Terraforming Mars content, especially your ideas for your fan expansion.

This game peaked my interest when I noticed it was on sale at my LGS like 3 weaks ago.Since then I did check some reviews on it but it was only this video that truly help me make up my mind.You touched every point of the game I wasn't sure about so now I'm sure this game is surely worth a shot even if I'll prob have to get it at full price now.
