For those who are worried about the b^2 going to b, the next step is still the same (both b and b^2 are some real number, so they can both be simplified to the square root of pi)

I have alternative solution papa (daddy).
We make the substitution, X=e^u
We have integral (e^(-u^2+u))
Then we define

I(t) = e^(-u^2 +tu)

We can use I(0) = sqrt(pi)

Then diff wrt t, and integrate by parts leaving us with a TRIVIAL differential equation :)
