A fun-loving couple is relocating to Gulf Shores, Alabama, to escape the traffic around their Atlanta home. They want a home that's as close to the beach as possible with plenty of covered deck space outdoors. With five daughters in their blended family, they need at least three bedrooms and a relaxing space to spend quality time in as a family.

Most people only fantasize about living on an island, but we'll prove that an Island Life is possible for anyone. Tropical dreamers will be shown island properties that fit into any budget, from ultra-affordable to totally outrageous. I guess I have way different tastes for a second home- the idea is to be cozy, close to the fun and out of doors. Bedrooms are for sleeping. Bathrooms can be shared and living can be indoor and out

I love the beaches and all, but people should understand how the area works when a storm/hurricane hits. I don't feel bad for the people who should know what they're going to be up for, but I do feel bad for the ones that don't have a choice.

You don't have to move to Gulf Shores to have the advantage of being outside and being active. Plus they won't be on the beach all the time - I doubt their screen time dropped off at all. Some of the reasons people give for moving are ridiculous.

If you’re buying on the beach, expect to buy expensive substandard housing. None of those houses were very good. Vacation home, yes but full time living? Absolutely not.
