If you're like me and come across this with a different sound, check to see if it's the Device Connect/Disconnect sound. Disabling the Device Disconnect sound got rid of it for me. I tried disabling Device Connect first, and the sound continued. I left it enabled and disabled the disconnect sound, no more noise.

OMG THANK YOU SOO MUCH, THIS FIXED IT.
I KEPT GETTING THIS BEEP SOUND EVERY TIME I CONNECTED MY BLUETOOTH SPEAKER TO MY PC AND THIS LITERALLY FIXED IT, EVEN THOUGH THERE CLEARLY WEREN'T ANY ISSUES WITH THE CONNECTION, IT KEPTS BEEPING EVERY 3 SECONDS. THANK YOU SO

i gave up solving my problem and just disabled the sound caues my pc was working perfectly fine with all things plugged in, device connect and disconnect was really getting on my nerves

Lets say that there has been no sounds for 30 seconds. Well what happens then is that just prior to sounds beginning of any kind, I get a strong DC pulse sent to my speakers. However, If sounds of any kind occur one after another, and are occurring in less than 30 seconds apart, the loud DC pulse sound does not occur. So now lets just sit around and do nothing for a minute. Then we go to the sound troubleshooting section. Half way through the troubleshooting testing, the loud DC pulse occurs again. So it seems as though the sound system is shut down after 30 seconds, and then powers up again if called for, thus again producing the loud DC pulse noise. It is driving me crazy. I did not have this problem before.

In my laptop the beep was from the USB cable I use to charge my earbuds from laptop. I think the wire (cable) was short and was connecting/disconnecting rapidly. I replaced the cable and I am in peace.
