I don’t have the update. I want a tutorial on how to physically open the system and physically disable the actual tiny speaker that produces the sound

I don’t have an option for beep sound, like the menu is entirely the same bar the beep sound not being there. Any help would be appreciated if you’ve got a clue :)

For anyone who wants to know why the beep sound option is not available Reddit users say “The beep sound settings is only in beta and only certain people can use it until it releases to the public in about a week or so.”

Not disagreeing with anyone, but I really do like the beep. For me it makes the PS5 mor high tech.

I turned off my beep sound, but the start up audio/chime still plays through the TV speakers even when my headset is plugged into the controller? And audio wont switch from TV to headset until i select which profile im on

Does ur ps5 make a navigation sound like when you've reached the end of the options choice but u click down anyways and it makes a beeping sound? How do I turn that off? I turned off the sounds effect but it does nothing for the end of an option choice.

We’re living in 2023 and can’t mute the latest gen console’s beeps. Where 20-30 years ago you could customize almost everything in Windows PC. Pathetic!
