3 ways to paint a Pine Tree with Watercolor - Beginning to intermediate

Показать описание
These three simple techniques make painting pine in watercolor trees a breeze. This is a great tutorial for beginners and those of you brushing up on your watercolor skills. All you need are basic watercolor supplies. Good luck!
Supplies
Watercolor Paint - basic 8 color set
Watercolor paint brush - round 4,6,or 8
Water in a container
Paper towel
A test paper is optional
To Simplify this
Use one color instead of multiple
Sketch a light triangle in pencil, divide it into 5 with horizontal lines and fill in each layer with watercolor downward strokes
Assignment
After learning this technique paint 5-7 pine trees using one color. Beginning with a few lighter ones (more water), then moving to more saturated brighter ones. It will give the appearance of a forest in the fog, or mist.
