Homesteading is NOT FUN, It is work like other jobs . It is hard like being a lumberjack, like being a miner, like being a parent of 22 foster kids. I have done homestead since 1982, when I was in my 20s, back in New England. I do Urban Permaculture in NM 87107

There's a 2 handed tool used for stripping the log called a draw knife that makes the stripping faster and easier. I used draw knives when I stripped logs last summer.

I think you should build a double wide container home or any tiny home and use the van for your travels………Those plates are only 10lbs…..They look like 45’s….lol…Health is wealth……I started a carnivore diet/life style 3 weeks ago. I am amazed what foods do to you….Having no sugar and low carbs has made my sleep better, mental clarity and my inflammation/arthritis is a tad better….I expect all things to just get better
