Have you actually read the dua for istikhara? There's no mention of sign or dreams. Why? Because those are open to interpretation. What you should look out for is something being made easier or harder for you.

Sorry but You get over yourself!! Loads of people do get signs and dreams after istikharah. Don't obsessively wait for a sign but if you receive one, don't be like an ostrich and stick your head in the sand pretending you didn't see it! I had a very clear feeling after doing my istikharah about something important and I chose to ignore the feeling because I listened to people like you who told me ignore signs / dreams etc and just use your logic and brains and make a rational decision based on known facts. In the end the logic failed and the premonition was 💯 correct. I wish I'd listened to my Istikharah instead of listening to people like you!
