This was extremely useful!- but I have some confusion about the use of LDRs as night lights.

If the resistance shoots up in the darkness(at night) making the current hardly flow, doesn't that mean it won't light up at all? Isn't supposed to light up at night?

but didnt you say resistance is directly proportional to temperature? so wouldnt the thermistor work the opposite way?

The resistance of thermistors are inversely proportional to temperature as described here.

A mistake here I think...
Ammeters are always connected like .. Positive to Positive terminal and negative to negative terminal.

why is the resistance high when its cold in a thermistor, a why is the resistance low when its hot in a thermistor?
