I have thise code (P0455), but there is no fuel smell in my car and no smoke from exhaust, but my engine burns a lot of gas fast. I will try to visually inspect the purge valve first, and then follow the line to my pressure vale and charcoal canister next.

My nissan murano runs fine from cold engine start, but after about 5mins into driving(once the engine heats up) it starts choking and acceleration studders...the only engine code its given(once the check engine light comes on) is p0455-evap system. Is there a way to gaurantee that fixing/replacing all these will stop it from studdering; and drastic loss of power?

I bought a ‘07 Nissan Sentra from a buddy of mine n he said it would only need an evap hose, after looking at this video idk what hose it could be for. Any suggestions or advice for this? I have the same code

2010 nissan murano, codes when smogged for emmission leak. new factory cap, still eventually codes. also, periodic short duration acceleration dropout after stoplight. could that be from emmisdion system leak as well? only use premium gas. thank you.

My 06 Nissan Sentra has a P0455 code, it cold starts just fine, but once warm and driving, rpm’s drop very low. If I warm start it, rpms drop to zero and it turns off, unless I rev it to keep it on. From what I’ve been told, it’s either the purge valve or idle air controller? Any thoughts?

If I drive my manual 2009 versa hard with mostly mid/high rpm, the check engine disappears. But if I feather the throttle, the check engine come back. I got p2134 or p2138 I think and p0455. Any idea please?

possible hack around this? like pay the inspection guy a Benjamin... but that only works if he has connections to the guy on the inside. Sure do Miss the good ole days... back then it was just safety checks like horn, lights, brakes, wheels... logical stuff like that. Today they just want to make you pay pay pay your taxes, but they never fix the potholes or anything else. lol
