Are polarizers worth it?

it works great on the sky too, especially if you're trying to shoot interesting cloud formations or snow-covered mountains. anything white pops off the sky much more clearly when you use the polarizer to cancel out some of the light from the sky.

This is just wild to me.. I’ve been a film photographer since the mid 1960s and seeing new young photographers “discovering” basic fundamentals of the attributes of light and how to modify them makes me happy and surprised at the same time. Enjoy your journey sir!

Removes glare on non metal surfaces. Wet landscapes also benefits massively.

Polarized lenses are great for cutting the glare off water as well. They're not magic, but they do make a noticeable difference when you're looking for fish.

careful putting those on btw, you dont need to tighten it down at all, just enough so the filter doesn't move, they can be very hard to remove if overtightened.

Pretty sick, same reason we use polarized glasses while fishing! Helps you see through the water 😎😎

I feel like I would want the windshield to be blacked out. Is there something else besides the windshield that you are looking to enhance with the polarizer? If not, I feel like I would forgo the use of it.
