Applying vaseline under the eye can cause milia and I did it 2-3 years back and got milia. Bt finally I got rid of it!

Vaseline is not a moisturizer. It acts as a sealant. That’s why so many people recommend “slugging” it’s when you do your skincare THEN lock it all in with Vaseline. Putting Vaseline on first, prevents any other products from properly penetrating the skin. I’ve done research on it as well, so Someone correct me if I’m wrong but just trying to help someone out. It would be a shame to waste your skincare like that and see no results.

Girl, you still have makeup on before and after... I wouldn't believe a word this woman says. Vaseline acts as a barrier between your skin and the outside. Putting vaseline on before other skincare will not do anything but ensure that whatever you put on after, will not penetrate the skin whatsoever and won't do anything for you. It also won't properly exfoliate because there is a product between your skin and the exfoliant that also acts like a slippery slide. If you want to use vaseline, use it after your face is dry and you've put your moisturizer on and you're done with all your skin care, BUT only if you have extremely dry skin, otherwise it's not needed and could make your skin look oily. It will seal the moisture in. These TikTok "doctors" might be posing as doctors, or might just be bad doctors.

I'm an amature in skincare but isn't the purpose of exfoliating is to remove dead skin cells? If you don't wash your face after the dead skin cells are going to be in the same place right?

Baking soda with a tiny amount of face wash liquid, mux into paste and apply. Gently rub in circles, add water as necessary. For me, this is the best and most gentle exfoliant. 2-3 times a week. ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

If I put vaseline on my face I got covered in spots the next day...so is a big NO this treatment for me won't work. We all have different type of skin as personality traits too😘
