For the first time in its history (according to the press material) Arby's is now doing a hamburger, in this case the Wagyu Steakhouse burger, and we rushed in to see if it's worth the hype

1st time to my knowledge as well. I worked for the company in mid 90's couple of years in Knoxville Tn. The only restaurant I have ever worked at that gives a free meal to their employees. Hmm, wonder if this offers here South. It takes years for the majority of new concepts of products and diverse types of cultural foods to enter the market here. By that time West Coast is on to the next hot trend.

I'm not sure if it was nationwide or anything but a couple years ago, my Arby's had a venison burger that was really good, so technically I don't think they can say it's their first time doing a burger. First time doing a hamburger? Yes. And this looks really delicious. They use 6.4 oz patties so it's 50% bigger than a quarter-pounder from McDonald's.

I wonder what technicalities they're having to jump through and what kind of Olympic levels of stretching is involved in order for them to call this "Wagyu" 😂 we know damn well ain't no real actual Wagyu burger going for $9 😛

It's horrible....the Burger is Boiled in water in a bag sou vied style  then deep fried in the fryer then in  the microwave to melt cheese...gross bland rubbery
