Algebraic Geometry Codes 4 (Codes from Invertible Sheaves)

In this video we give a slightly different definition of Algebraic Geometry Codes using invertible sheaves instead of divisors. We mention some facts about invertible sheaves including the Picard group and divisors and the class group. We show that such a code gives up to monomial equivalence the same code as the code from the corresponding divisor. But it gives a nice new perspective on those codes.
