Smita Srivastava from India has always grown her hair out long since her childhood.

She told GWR, "I always wanted to have a world record with my name on it - as it is my lifelong dream to become a "Rapunzel" and an inspiration to other women all around the world. I want to share my story and represent my country with pride."

Many of the comments denote jealousy. Long hair is difficult to take care of, but it’s beautiful. Why should she donate her hair to anyone? That’s like asking you to donate your children because you have too many anyway. Why compare her to other women on YouTube with long hair? What’s the point? By doing that you are invalidating her.
