Billy Squier had several great jams. I still can't figure out why he never had a top 10 hit. His other songs that are definitely worthy are "Rock Me Tonight, " "In The Dark, " "Everybody Wants You" and "My Kinda Lover." These songs are absolute gems, just like "The Stroke"!!! 😃👌

This song was huge when I was in ninth grade. "The Stroke" was Billy Squier's big hit, but for a couple of Led Zeppelinesque bangers from him check out "Lonely Is The Night" and "In the Dark".

This song came out in 1981 when I was eleven years old and its now 2021 and I just turned 52 and I can honestly say this is one of those songs I NEVER got sick of and is STILL IN MY PLAYLIST today!!

“Everybody Wants You” and “Lonely is the Night” are also great songs to rock out to. I was lucky enough to see Billy in concert 3 times (back when I could afford to go to concerts lol. $25 would buy you a nice ticket at the outdoor pavilion). He always put on a great show.

She’s a Runner is also another great Billy Squier song. I saw him in concert opening for Pat Benatar and he killed it. Excellent guitarist.

Check out Billy Squier "Emotions in motion", "She's a runner", "Everybody wants you", "My kinda lover". His albums "Don't Say No" and Emotions in Motion" are Fantastic albums. These records are so underrated!!! Love me some Billy!!!
