I still love this song. Have this album, played the holy hell out of it for years and still give it a spin now and again. Reminds me of flying around the skating rink. Billy's song In the Dark is another favorite.

OMG, love Billy Squire what a timeless artist!! Absolutely just love all of his music 🎼🎼🎼!! Can't go wrong with any of his songs.. He was a music artist that wasn't gonna conform to the demands of the music mongrels, the music labels that get more $$ than the artists themselves. Billy did it his way, not the demands & greediness of the producers, and the music arrangements that they wanted in order to trap Billy into to performing, and the music industry wanting him to write a certain amount of songs on their time limits!! The entire music industry wanted nothing more than what they can choke out of any artist, and I love more than anything, that Billy wasn't gonna play their games. It pissed off the entire music industry and they did all they could do to destroy this man's career!! Didn't happen though, but they made his life and career a living hell!! Jerks!!! You go Billy, you are the man!!! 😎😎😎

What a great song. The high school memories come flooding back. And yes Lex it was very popular. Billy was taking off until he did a video with him dancing and unfortunately killed his career during the beginning of MTV.

One of my buds in high school had a baby blue 1967 Mustang and he used to play Billy Squire constantly whenever I'd hitch a ride with him home from school. Especially the song "The Stroke". I used to tease him about it (I'm female, he's male). It'd be great if he still had that car....but now I drive a Mustang GT, so I'm enjoying the ride to this day listening to music I loved growing up. (Class of '82)
