i´ve only read few parts on that skeptic´s site, and the links that are suppose to back up their claims are broken
and on some other not zeitgeit issue that i looked at (burzynski) they just seem to have a long ass response without any external sources
so far that site didn´t impress me
and what´s the deal when i click on the author´s name it says "the contributor does not exist or changed their username"? USERname? so not even their real name? and also, check the contact section. it says that individual contributors do not have to provide you their contacts, but when you write theorist emails to their common contact, YOUR name and email will be posted on their site. and when you look at that "hate mail" section, they don´t even respond to every posted email or write some smug response. in one they posted lyrics of a song? wt. it looks that even those self-proclaimed skeptics are only skeptics when it suits them

Was Horus born during the Winter Solstice [Christmas]?

In the book, Osiris Death and Afterlife of a God, Bojana Mojsov says, “Theirs was the Savior Child of light, born at the winter solstice with the sun” (xii).

Was Isis a Virgin?

Mojsov says, “Isis came to be worshipped as the Primordial Virgin and their child as the Savior of the World” (xii).
Was Osiris resurrected?

Mojsov says, “Every year in the town of Abydos his death and resurrection after three days were celebrated in a publicly enacted passion play called the Mysteries of Osiris” (xii).

I haven't seen the Zeitgeist movie, but I know there is a lot of misinformation on the similarity of religions. While there are a lot of things that are similar, it seems some have ben fabricated. There's a Masonic book, Morals and Dogma from the mid to late 1800's that perpetuates some of this. Also, I believe The Golden Bough (Frazier?) does this. As I recall, one of these books, I believe it was Morals and Dogma, tells of Krishna being crucified on a Y shaped tree. I've studied Hinduism for years and never seen or heard this story. I do think there are many similarities in religious mythologies, but also much has been made up.

The exact date of Christ’s birth is unknown. The Bible does not directly answer the question. There are a few clues though, of which the most obvious one is in Luke 2:8: "And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night." There's no doubt it couldn't be the winter month since the shepherds were outside, it was most likely in summer or early fall. Why the church chose to celebrate Christs's birth on 25th of December is debatable.

I think you would find it very enlightening to listen to Acharya S/D.M. Murdock. She will make all of this perfectly clear. I will let you come to your own conclusion. If you're suppose to know it, the information will cross your awareness and you will see exactly what you're suppose to see.
