How To Turn Off Auto-Lock On iPhone

I do not have the "auto lock" option under Display & Brightness. The option is non-existent. And no, it does not have low power mode. I have not found anyone who mentions this error occuring

If your phone is down to yellow on charging, you can’t change the auto lock. It is gray, and when you push auto lock, it doesn’t recognize

I wish I could turn auto-lock off. I don't have the option "never". The longest I can set is 2 minutes. Frustrating.
