I’m weary of the word “diversity.” The local newspaper listed my neighborhood as one of the most diverse in Reno. It’s not diverse; it’s a reservation, 100% Native!!

this topic was covered by Malcolm X and Martin Luther King on the dangers caused by white liberals and some of these "progressives" . in fact white liberals seem to want to control the focus of minorities in social struggles. This is why we can support each but we need to control our own destiny. We are not all the same and that is OK also.

"Listen to minorities."
"No, wait, not *those* minorities dammit."

I've read Robin DiAngelo's "White Fragility". It's hands down one of the worst books that I've ever read. I'm currently reading Kendi's "How to be an AntiRacist" and it's in 2nd play for worst book I've ever read. But at least there are some elements that are historically true. I follow his tweets however, and he really isn't that bright. Neither one of them are intellectuals by any stretch of the imagination unless you are stuck under a rock without access to authors who are real intellects and think at a critical level. These 2 are nothing but race grifters making millions from book sales, corporate, academic teacher union lectures and from white liberal billionaires. That's how you know they and the woke are full of crap.

Lol, Robin DiAngelo got Michel Martin to stifle a laugh and adjust her glasses with the example defensive quote, "I'm not racist; I'm from Boston."

Love how she dodged the question about criticisms by other black people - they weren't just the ones who didn't believe that racism exists. I wouldn't care if she was just sharing her own experiences but she's doing a whole lot more than that. This woman disgusts me. She has caused more divisiveness than any other single person speaking out about racism. She has been roundly criticized by black and white scholars alike. Despite her protests, this is more about ameliorating her own guilt and making big bucks off of shaming all whites: to say that all whites are racist by virtue of being white is b.s. In short, this is a woman exploiting Black suffering for her own gain. Incidentally, I have been a lifelong anti-racist since I was a tween --several decades ago.

Robin DiAngelo will go down as one of the most counterproductively impactful authors of a generation. I don't think she's evil, just terribly misguided.

I find it funny Angelo avoids talking about Italians being discriminated against too because they are indeed Latin…and many look middle eastern.

The passive-aggressive racism she speaks of was a reoccurring problem that shocked me when I went to live in what I thought would be an urban culture in the US. I found it extremely segregated and...weird AF; totally demoralizing.

The Author is describing Canada.. it's notorious for "nice racism"

Wish she would talk more about how to address the “deeply vested interest” because that’s what cements ongoing racism.

I just watched Am I Racist it stars Robin DiAngelo, I thought her performance was commanding and unforgettable. I would highly recommend the movie, it’s true genius. The movie was symbolic it helps you look forward and be unburdened by what has been.

3:40 The exhaustion! Whew chile! I felt that in my spirit. I find white professional environments EXHAUSTING beyond expression. 😅 It's this weird undercurrent where you have to smile all day and act excited about everything and bring crazy energy to everything in a way that is unnatural and superficial.

I heard that Italians were not "white" in America before 1924. Does that make sense?

I hope we will look back on her ideas and think they were some of the worst in our nation’s history.

The bigger challenge is for those who find her " exhausting" instead listen and understand her as a sociologist. Racism is Exhausting !

I'm in my 50s and back in my 20s I spent time in s/w Oklahoma...during an day off work function with families invited, I was in line for food, making conversation with the lady behind( white lady in her 50s, wearing a big cross necklace), I waved to my coworker's wife, Shirley and was asked how I knew her...also did I know that she took "mixed kids " at her home daycare?...I admit pausing to process that...and then I asked her if that was so their parents could go to work?? I was glad to escape...talked to John, he recognized her description and stated that she ought to burst into flames, wearing the cross and being so judgmental and unkind. They were both very progressive and I was glad to not feel alone. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself

Systemic racism is one reason I'm probably leaving the usa when I retire. I'm retiring from work AND institutional racism. God Willing

The level of arrogance and condescension dripping from this woman's every utterance is epic.

DiAngelo, like Kendi, will never debate anyone, as this would be detrimental to their grifts.
