Where are the 5 Ghost Wives of Henry VIII?

King Henry VIII had 6 wives. Legend had it that five of King Henry VIII’s wives still haunt England, doomed to wander amongst the loving for all eternity. Catherine of Aragon, her ghostly form draped in tattered robes, could be seen weeping in the chapel where she prayed for a son. Anne Boleyn’s spectral figure, her head still detached from her body, haunted the tower where she was imprisoned before her execution. Jane Seymour, her ghostly face eternally serene, floated through the halls where she once gave birth to the future king. The ghost of Catherine Howard, her screams still echoing through the castle, could be heard in the chamber where she was dragged away to her death. And finally, the spirit of Catherine Parr, who outlived the king and lived to old age, could be seen wandering the gardens, a peaceful smile on her face. But one wife was notably absent from this haunting: Anne of Cleves. Her life had been the least tragic of all Henry’s wives, and so her ghost was said to have moved on from the castle, finding peace in the afterlife.

Here is the fate of the other five ghost wives of King Henry VIII

Jane Seymour did *not* die in childbirth. She died 12 days after she had actually given birth to Prince Edward, generally thought to have been a uterine infection after birth, or from retained placenta.

Even in death, it seems that the wife that got the least attention from
Henry has had a better and more peaceful outcome

Imagine if Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard were never killed and they were both still alive during Mary’s reign what would have happened in your opinion and were would their ghost be if they were not killed by Henry the 8 and instead he sent them away to live in the country

The cause of Ann of Cleves is honestly unknown.

Well to be fair, despite calling her a horse, Anne of Cleves remained close to Henry after their divorce and would often be involved in royal court. She was dubbed as the “King’s Sister.” Not to mention that she became the richest woman in England that time and was fortunate enough to see the reigns of Edward VI and Mary I. So yeah…she might as well hold no grudge against the King and moved on peacefully to the afterlife.

Anne of Cleves was the only one who didn't suffer through Henry's narcissism and she got a house out of the deal. I'd move on peacefully too 🤣

Katherine: *bieng chased away by the man she loved the most..*
Anne: *unfairly being beheaded by the king for no good reason..*
Jane: *she was NOT loved by Henry, it was the son Henry cared fr even when she was giving birth the doctor said there’s only one they can save the mother or the son Henry said “the child”*

I really think ghosts are just the universe's memory. Like a tape player, stuck on a loop
