@AngryLlamaAttack I use FL and I've learned almost everything I know from this guy's reason tutorials. You don't need the same daw, especially when he's demonstrating with massive.

i am fairly confident with my knowledge of reason. but the interface is completely diferent in FL so I am not sure how to do simple tasks like side chain or automate stuff

I don't see how FL is shit compared to reason. Reason is a DAW and FL allows you to use VSTI... so if you have quality vsti's such as sylenth1 or massive, you can create truely amazing tracks.. some familiar names in the business that use FL exclusively are... laid back luke and afrojack.. also, i think it is harder to get some dubstep bass wobbles using maelstrom/thor or whatever when u can just use massive and get an amazing wobble in a fairly short amount of time.
