I've been looking for something like this for years, but I'd like to apply this to selection decals on RTS units so that when they stand close to each other the overlapping portion of the circles disappears. How can I apply this technique to that scenario? I've currently got a simple procedural emissive circular material being applied to a decal component that I add to all of my units and the visuals are disabled if unselected and enabled if selected. I won't be able to assign an X and Y coordinate for each individual unit in the parameters since it could be any number of units, and this would need to work for the units regardless of where they are on the map.
