Hisuian Starters?! Pokémon News Analysis

We got tons of new Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, and Legends Arceus info this week, including info I believe makes it likely that the Hisui starter Pokémon will get regional variants.

Here's a thought, maybe Hisuian Arcanine will get Accelerock instead of Extremespeed. Makes sense to me, since it would still be fast, but not faster than modern day Arcanine

This Pokemon Direct was so exciting, hyped up the new games so much. It seems like everybody is a lot happier with both Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl as well as Legends Arkoos now

legends arceus is starting to feel more and more like pokemon and breath of the wild combined (which is a great thing). I mean the braviary is basically the paraglider and having to dodge rampant pokemons with split second reflexes is the flurry rush in botw. SO HYPED FOR IT!

When Utsunomiya, the staff member that told the news in this pokémon presents appears, the shelf in the background contains plushies of the sinnoh starters and their final stage evolutions to the right, but only plushies of cyndaquil, oshawott and rowlet, and not of their respective evolutions. I think this may further imply the possibility of them having regional form evolutions.

so it’s like the types of sinnoh starters but inversed

the hideaways is the perfect method of including pokemon that wernt in game available in the original sinnoh games without haveing to change the overworld. it also provides a way of having a "wild area" type zone, and provides more flexability for adding things like maybe hisuian evolutions possibly?!

I actually wonder if Growlithe will have an ability where it loses its rock typing when it's horn breaks? Maybe when it's defense falls below half it turns into pure fire and it's stats rearrange to make it faster but lowers it's defense?

My theory is you need to have 2 basculin in your party to get Basculegion and when one levels up and the other is fainted is how it evolves

Seeing the Wild Starly actually walking around on the ground instead of constantly flying nonstop like birds did in Sword in Shield makes me very excited. That bugged me a lot.

15:10 The fun thing about the crafting systems is that if you look closely, one of the ingredients is apricorns, a clear reference to Johto and Azalea Town. This could also be a nod to the link between Sinnoh and Johto along with typhlosion.
