What do you do with your budget after the month is over, and you’re ready to begin a new month? Most people don’t realize it, but your spending throughout the month gives you some incredibly helpful information.

One of the first steps to creating and sticking to a realistic budget is tracking your expenses. Your spending is the underlying foundation for creating a budget and ensuring that your budgets in the future are successful.

If you are not aware of where your money is going, you can’t make the best decisions for your dollars. Today, I am going to show you how to extract all of the vital information from your expense trackers using the "Where Did My Money Go?" Worksheets.

Paid off my car in December. Whoop Whoop! Did if faster because of doing the Budget Sheet each month. Now that money I' need to put toward paying off my dental bill because right now it is 0% and at the end of May it bumps up to, I believe 26% so that is my goal.

I am so happy we have a pet emergency fund coz our rescue dog has been sick for the last 2 yrs. Unfortunately, we have used up everything because I went to ML for a year. Now I am focusing in building up our emergency funds again. Hoping 2023 will be better for all of us pet parents. 💙

My realization on the importance of having pet savings came after both my cats had ER visits in the same year for a total of $1, 400. The only way to afford that was with the stimulus money given out a few years ago. Stimulus check gone but my fur babies are still here. I never want to be surprised by that again.

100% agree on pet emergency fund. Our youngest K9 fur baby had a seizure a couple of months ago. Thankfully it was just one but It totally threw a wrench in the budget. I was fully expecting if any of them had any issues it would be our oldest K9 fur baby.
