True. I have acne and when it was at its worse, the only thing that help was just stop using lots acne products and return to the basics.

I realized it too. I've been really stressed and than i choose sugar and dairy to be my happiness. I also can't sleep well and start to feel doing skincare consume too much time so i just skip it many times.
My skin (also me) never been so bad before

I concur with the sugar. Ever since I limited my sugar intake, I stopped having breakouts. I still eat/drink sweets but only once a week to satisfy my cravings. I also drink 2L of water a day to not have insulin spike. I have clear skin and I get to eat desserts ☺️

I am in law school so the stress level is high but I still maintained clear skin.

A few years ago I’ve had the breakout of my life. My skin was so angry at me, I cry whenever I was taking shower because it’s painful when the water touches my skin. Going to the Dr didn’t work, so I tried everything I could, including applying ACV on my face. I went from oily gal to dry as heck. What stabilizes my skin at the end was basically baby products. In the end, I came across Liah’s videos and started to incorporate face oils into my unscented moisturizer. That’s literally my skincare + suncreen when I’m going out. It took years for my skin to heal, but to this day I’m still doing minimal skincare that is mainly targeted at hydration. My skin has been very good for the past 2 years so I’m really thankful for Liah for introducing me to the world of face oils❤

You had me at sugar. No one EVER talks about sugar. It took me so long to realize sugar & sugary soda has been behind my acne all along.

Sugar is the only weapon I have against my stress and nobody in the morning can take greek yogurt away from me. So it’s 3/5, I lost my battle against acne, I happily give up

another thing to look out for is letting hair products touch ur face!! all those creams, oils, mousses, etc can block ur pores and get your skin inflamed.

no need to cut anything out or change your diet dramatically. look into supplements. people look remove from their diet, cut down and simplify their skincare but neglect to supplemental care. i promise, adding basic, good quality b complex, zma, vitamin d+k2 and skin focused probiotics and even phytoceramide WILL HELP YOU HEAL
