I think you are missing the point, you do not need to use your phone/tide app you just use the machine, you could otherwise have bought the cheaper version that works from your phone. it takes 1-3 days for the money to go in.
I am finding parts of this so annoying, I have moved over from a zettle machine, not being able to put in what it is you are selling, is really annoying, and not being able to get daily totals is also infuriating, so if you want to keep tabs on daily amounts you need to take a total on the machine, print it and then close off / reset. I am hugely disappointed with it to be honest.
