You selected the prewash but you added the liquid detergent in both compartments at the same time resulting in letting flow the detergent in the drum. The prewash will have double amount of detergent and the main wash none. That's not the way it's supposed to be doing. Use the special container for liquid detergent or use a powder which will stay in the drawer and will be delivered in the load at the proper time.

Don’t put what the bottle says.. read the owners manual and it tells you how much to use depending on the concentration of the detergent. I learned this after years of wasting detergent you’re actually supposed to use so much less. For example my front load Maytag for a full drum of clothes it calls for .7-.89 grams of 4X concentrated detergent. I used to go to the numbers and I was using waaayyyy too much

I have read this label and it says for medium loads go to 'just below bar 2' and for large loads, go to just below bar 4 and for HE full loads go to bar 5. Why would HE only be mentioned to be at bar 5?
