the springlock scene was realistic. people wanted it to be like the little 8bit animation seen in the games

i enjoyed the Springlock scene despite it being more tame. It was still a decent alternative.

Dude if they made it rated R, half of the people complaining about the lack of gore wouldn’t have been able to see it on their own 😭

The spring lock scene was still a masterpiece.

It's more realistic, William wouldn't have been immediately screaming, his body was in shock so he froze

Just me who doesn’t care about how other people think of the movie and is just happy I got to witness the FNAF movie?

Fun fact! William stopped screaming because the locks had cut thro his vocal lungs

I’m glad it was 15 in the UK, 12 movies are usually not that dark, but I couldn’t see it at the cinema since it was 15, but I still watched it at home

Yea they did know people would be upset, and they knew most fans would be fine and jsut have to deal with it

I think the reason why William didn't scream or panic was because he knew how the suit works. He knew that he would have to stay calm and be careful not to loosen more of the springlocks. But when they all loosened, he accepted his fate by putting the mask back on, knowing that he would possess the suit after death.

In Matpat's theory video, he talked about how William in the movie knows much more about souls snd remnants than his game counterpart since he was able to manipulate the animatronics.

The spring lock scene was realistic, the bolts going into William wouldn’t have caused a lot of bleeding, it would be worse if all the metal bolts went in, and then out, he would’ve died of blood loss right then and there, also him inhaling and exhaling really fast is realistic also, I’m diabetic, type 1, and the site things when they go on, if they hit a muscle, it hurts really badly, to the point you can’t move because of how bad it stings, and after removing it when you have to, blood comes out if it does hit something, him doing those jolts and small movements is pretty realistic.

I did wish it was more gory. I loved the movie, even with it's issues, but they really should've went for a more dark approach. The story is fueled by child murder after all

I will say I didn't love the springlock scene. However, William being dragged away by the animatronics as the building is falling apart was awesome.

It was realistic for two things:

1.) Getting stabbed prevents any blood from gushing out and only after the object is removed you will start to bleed.

2. Christopher Lee once said that getting stabbed lets all the air out of your body, preventing you from screaming

I mean, we all knew that younger kids were gonna watch the movie.

They should have saved all the blood and put it in the spring lock scene

If it was rated r only the adult fans could see it

It's weird that only the people that don't know fnaf, are the ones that send bad reviews!?😮

He tried to stay calm because if he was screaming it would be worse than it was. They are just mad because it's realistic
