Fake or not, that's one hell of a way to advertise your merchandise

a truck capable of about 280 kph / 173 miles per hour (about 150 aeronautical knots - for a plane like this) is quite extraordinary. Also assuming about 20% of the fully loaded weight of the airplane is on the nose gear then the truck bed would need to take a load of about 30.000 kg /66, 000 lbs... Which is utterly impossible without blowing out every rear tire and the chassis' metal being plastered across the tarmac in seconds...

Thanks for this video. A person close to me thought that the fake video that is referred to here was "amazing." Simple physics would tell you that the truck could not have been traveling faster than the landing aircraft, but that is exactly what the fake video showed at first. Anyhow, thank you again for posting this.

Thank you very much, cause part of me was thinking this can’t be real, what kinda suspension that truck running! But the fake news report had me thinking it was real.

My first reaction was "Holy Cow" then I realized that the bed of the truck wasn't touching the ground!! There's no way in the world the truck would have been flat to the ground when throwing a ton of cement bags in the back would have the bed much closer to the ground. If you threw 15 tons in the back what would that do?

I knew it! There’s no way a Nissan Frontier could take that kind of weight. The nose of a passenger plane weighs more than the maximum loading weight of the Nissan Frontier. Usually the maximum loading weight of most pickups is little more than a tonne (1, 000 kg). Commercial jetliners usually weigh upwards of 30 tonnes. Machinery used in junkyards to crush cars exerts less force than that. Also, there’s no way a Nissan Frontier can reach the speeds airliners reach when landing or withstand the forces exerted on touchdown. The landing speed for most airliners is 160 mph (usually noted on the airspeed indicator as 145 knots), at a descent rate of 750 feet per minute. Most cars can’t exceed 120 mph. A Ferrari could accelerate to that speed and far beyond, but the cars made by this Italian icon are out of the price range of many. Besides, there’d be no need because pilots are extensively trained for dealing with just the situation if anything goes wrong in flight.

This actually happened with an f16 a6an extended cab p/up truck at the base i eas stationed at. The front wheel strut fell off, and the nose was dropped down in the bed of the truck, obviously the tailgate was down.

My question is what does Nissan get out of making a fake ad like that, The first time somebody actually tries that with their truck and fails they're going to get sued

I can’t believe how many people take these things to be true. It’s insane how many times I have to tell the same people over and over to fact check before they spout fake shit. It’s insane. It’s been years and these people never ever learn to just GOOGLE something!
