Its a combination of effects. Tremolo phaser and delay to be specific.

Would be cool to see you make a pedal with these parts. :)

Thanks for the insight Aint1S! I suppose the most important question for us pedal builders is does the ppm actually reduce noise (to a detectable level) in a pedal circuit? Mike seems to think in certain applications it does, which has sparked my interest in learning more!

I don't know if theres enough parts to make a full pedal but im sure you will be seeing them in future pedals. To be honest their so cool im not sure im going to be able to use them lol

I have a JD F2 with NKT275 transistors.
I installed 3PDT switch, blue LED and DC in jack.
cable from the battery itself connected to the DC jack, center negative, outside positive.
On the LED I gave the positive DC jack, with a negative DC jack via 3PDT on the other end of the LED.
I wonder if I did right.Pedal love and everything works, but the tone is a little different, I take off my LED.Thanks

I bet they make a mean fuzz though... in consumer gear.
We've had coolant system failure and poured triple distilled water all over the entire system.
While the water is safe, the dust and probably hair etc... isn't, but they took it and the radar worked until we had shut it down.
Fixed the line inside the klystron and fired it back up... no problems!
They're good against that kind of stuff for a while.

How would you compare oc84 to nkt275 or nkt280?

The mil spec stuff is bullet proof. Pun intended :D

Maybe it's just a jaded (ET) sailor past time, but mil spec pop just as quick as consumer gear.
Just pulling boards and testing on my old ship in 2000, plug it back in... "pop!"
Another new fault our radar acquired...
We tested a lot of components. Mil spec has better tolerance to ambient effects... heat humidity etc...
When it comes to lifespan against dirty power, the field becomes level.
((((=))))
