Thanks man, it worked! I'm surprised. I used a BC517 transistor instead, but it still works like a charm and sounds good actually. :)

Trying to collect at least 10 different and SIMPLE guitar effect DIY projects that can be built out of 'common" or 'salvaged' parts from electronics around the house.

Any info would be AMAZING!

Genuinely looking for stuff where you just find parts in other electronics or are dirt cheap to buy parts - Wanting to work with them for beginner electronics and friend's kids.
