2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra: The TERMINATOR

This week I drove what I'd call a muscle car legend: the 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra "Terminator" !! While it's absolutely a flawed machine, it's also something you can hardly find in modern cars.

A manual supercharged V8, with decent handling, some drama, and a whole lot of character. I enjoyed driving the 'best' 4th-gen Mustang that money can buy (aside from the elusive and now exceptionally expensive Cobra R).

If you're considering an SN95, it's gotta be a SVT Cobra Terminator!!

I can't afford an 03-04 Cobra so I'll be trying to swap the engine & t56 magnum into an 04 GT I've seen it done, but hard to find one parting out.

Question, I recently bought an 03. I lowered it springs, struts, shocks, cc plates. It rides crazy now what minimally would you also do to the suspension for a better ride? Arms? Toe link ?

At 5:11 you said the cobra r had a 5.0L V8, they actually had a 5.4L triton V8

If you love the terminator cobra then you need to drive a mach 1. Has the big 4v heads but n/a and comes stock with a solid rear axle.

Sorry to say these cars are total garbage the interior is all plastic it's so well built that you don't see them anymore on the street cause there all in the junkyard 😂
