Bonhoeffer - A Very Short Review

Great movie !

The film focused on the church’s FAILURE to speak up when it needed to before the unleashing of evil and the courageous faith it took to stand up against the diabolical Nazi regime by just a few.

This is a very, very important part of world history and Christian history that I wished I had been taught in public school and in church, but sadly I was not taught by neither.

The film avoided showing explicit horrific atrocity scenes from WWII, so a younger audience could view it.

I disagree. The movie got a lot of things wrong. Most glaring the portrail of Churchill as the prime minister of Britain at the start of the war, and his refusal to enter the war. Churchill ran on Britain getting involved before the fighting made it's way to Britain. I didn't feel they did enough research, and failed to portray the story in an effective way. The movie just felt kind of sloppy to me.
