The battle system here is very reminiscent of the "elections" in Tammany Hall. I really had an awful time playing Tammany Hall, as the progression of one election after another was quite tedious and repetitive. There's at least a bit more going on in this game, but I'm pretty sure the battle system would sap my interest in it.
