Glorify God and enjoy Him FOREVER!

GPS or Global Positioning System. I salute the inventor. Amazing how God use the acronym in the invention of such magnificent technology.

To me however, GPS means God’s Positioning System. In my simple mind it’s God + Person of Jesus + Spirit = GPS. We follow the triune God and we will never lose track.
I right away see God in the Garmin gadget when I first saw how it works. Except that God already has a default plot. We’re here and our final destination is Him. We maybe rerouting for the nth time, because of our free will, but still, we will end up facing God in the end.

The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. Similarly, if we were to ask the question in today's language, we might ask simply, “Why are we here?” Answer: We are here because an eternal God created us, so that we might be in union with him, and spread his glory.

So wherever you are right now, remember that you are here because God made you to be there to spread His glory. To spread His glory through you, seen and unseen, in the entirety of you. Remember, God sees everything. He knows if anything done is for His glory. Thus the motive of our activities is with the intention to glorify God. It’s not about you or anyone else. It is for God who created and owns us. We cannot bring anything when we face God, only the things that we did.

How to? We must fix ourselves to God to know how to. Listen to God the Father. Follow Jesus‘ and trust the Holy Spirit. It‘s like GPS (God + Person of Jesus +Spirit)
so you won’t lose track. As we follow Him, we are being one with Him, the triune God. God the Father in Heaven, Jesus and the Holy Spirit our Helper. The road maybe difficult, but we need to drive with His lead to reach our destination.
And when we reach God our destination, and give an account of what we did, we may well please Him and be with Him till eternity.

Oh God the Father in heaven, I wonder if people think of you everytime they use the GPS. You approved its invention to remind us how to find you in our daily life. Just like following the GPS. We need to have a clear direction, where we are and where we are heading so as not to lose track. To warn us and avoid traffic or accidents ahead. And if we did made a mistake, we will be rerouted and will still have your promised that You will never leave us. Thank you God. We don‘t know what lies ahead. But trusting GPS=God the Father +Person of Jesus + Spirit, will lead us to you through eternity.
