Some information about the fortress in Niksic, its foundations are actually the remains of a Roman city, after which it was conquered by the Goths. In the Middle Ages, it was part of the Slavic kingdoms in the area, until the arrival of the Ottomans. In the second half of the 19th century, Montenegrins liberated it again. The fortress was neglected for a long time, but it has been restored, and some archaeological investigations are planned...

Why was it so crowded? Well, the Ostrog monastery is kind of like Mecca and Medina for Orthodox people from whole world.

Unfortunately YouTubers and social media have ruined most places around the world. A lot of places are now suffering from not only over tourism but also over development. Water and waste infrastructures have been overlooked for the quick profits of building fast. In the next 2-3 years a lot of countries that have been experiencing this boom will hit the bust phase. The point at which supply far out paces demand.

in a 'Clockwork Orange, Anthony Burgess used some Russian and slavic words to create a kind of slang language used by the characters in the book. For example 'The Moloko Milk bar' where they served a milk drink laced with a synthetique drug called a 'Moloko Velocet'

Thank you Gabriel for the view at 27:09! That was my favorite view from the late 70s up to the summer of 1990. When I would get off the train from Belgrade and see that mountain on the left (Garac) from Titograd, I knew I was home. I knew I was in the most welcoming place on the planet. I enjoyed that view more than seeing Budva and Sveti Stefan down below. Also, back then, there were zero roundabouts and a lot less traffic. The downside to that view, after spending couple of months at a time there, leaving that place to go back to Belgrade felt like going back to prison. It would take me several weeks to get over it. In any case, thank you for what you do, and greetings from the SW side of the Twin Cities!

I love cherry liquor, it might be similar to the Polish Soplica, cherry vodka which is very nice, particularly when cold.

The form he was Slavia is beautiful. When Tito was the president there was peace between all provinces. Now they're all separated.
