I’m a huge Mario fan, but my 5 year old has gravitated towards Astro way more. The timers in Mario games are probably the main reason why. You can’t take your time and really explore. Astro is overall much more kid friendly.

I wouldn't say it's better but it's certainly the best thing like Mario to come from another studio. It 100% gets the feel right

Not even remotely comparable. One copies the others homework and delivers it in a polish and fun package. Cool. But Mario is king.

I’m a huge Super Mario fan and I agree honestly. Astro Bot is the perfect game. Swear I’ve been waiting so long for another amazing platformer and my expectations were absolutely exceeded.

Nintendo's problem is the switch itself and the joycons having drifting.

Astro Bot is designed on one of the most powerful consoles ever made, super mario odyssey was designed for a tablet, and super mario galaxy 1 & 2 were designed for the nintendo wii, nintendo reigns superior for how they push their hardware to run amazing games, but astro bot I still loved and enjoyed and one of the best games and it is a huge feat being compared to the best mario games

It's not the first full priced game in the series. Astro Bot Rescue Mission for PSVR was.

It was the second game I got a Platinum trophy on and I had a blast, I’m excited for the DLC they have planned
