This is why all bikes should have fenders pre-installed, that's so much to do for such a necessary should be on it already thing.

I'm lazy!.... that's all fine and dandy but there's a WAY easier way than you shorten/cut the allen wrench a bit (the short section) you will be able to fasten the forward/bottom cap screw to the bike without removing the wheel.... the two rear fasteners are easy enough to are then left with the last fastener...the halfway up capscrew that goes into the crossbar under the seat zip-tie through both holes in the fender (for different models I guess) and around the crossbar will hold it up and tight just fine....a couple of wraps of electrical tape will keep it centered to the day, I will do a "proper" install of the rear when I have my first flat...I promise!
