Hi.. I had made this& this was really really yum.Thanks a lot.i had been wanting to make this without the ice-cream maker & this worked
The only problem-i couldn't scoop it. I chilled it overnight coz it required long hour to set&when I took it out i couldn't scoop it as it was rock hard.i left it few min. outside to get little soft but it started to melt.So I just sliced it !&served.i still have it. How can I scoop it without getting it melted??

I have tried your chocolate ice-cream. Turned out really well. But I noticed few flaws in a recipe

i) as soon as I scoop the icecream into a bowl, it melts rightaway. Where as when we scoop a shop bought ice-cream, it stays frozen for quite sometime & doesn't melt or turns into a soup. But with this recipe it does.  May be you should consider adding some stabilizer like maltodextrin.

 ii) when I added chocolate chunks into a mixture, they just sat on the bottom, since the mixture was too liquid. So kindly let me know, when & how to incorporate fruit pieces or chunks, so they wont sit on the bottom.

And I have a request... could you show me how to make a salted caramel ice-cream, along with butterscotch ice-cream with homemade butterscotch sauce, macho fudge ice-cream, & couple of sorbets.
