The Unsullied were the only army to fight the Dothraki to a standstill and then they were both united under one ruler. I loved how one army is disciplined and stands at attention while one rides in announcing their presence.

Judging the numbers seen on television, those are pretty good odds for defenders if they attack, not counting the Dragon. The worst thing they could fear is boredom and sneak attacks.

Take away the air support of the dragons and this becomes a defensive victory. The Unsullied for all their tactical skill are essentially the equivalent of Light Infantry, and the Dothraki are Light Cavalry. No heavy support, siege engines, catapult artillery. The Dragons were the only thing that made this winnable.

Seeing this army and comparing to the night kings army...
I am wondering: is there truly not a way to converse with the nightkings army? I mean, basically they are zombies and zombie behaviour can be copied, which means it can be overturned/taken advantage of. Surely the bookversion of Samwell must have been onto something, no?..

Take away the dragon and this is an easy W for the defenders. The Dothraki are useless in a siege and the Unsullied didn't have any siege equipment with them from what we see. Not to mention the Unsullied mainly fight in a phalanx and a phalanx is useless when you have to climb a wall or bust down a gate.

Shows you how stupid the odds were even without dragons. All you had to do was force the kingdoms into your rule. Even then their house was notorious for brutality. Only the westerlands and the crownlanda would require force to subdue. The southern kingdoms would bend the knee just because. And the north would if she helped them afterwards with the night king since each northern kingdom was bound by family.

The only things in this show that didnt stoop down in quality is the visuals and music... quite strangely the music was even better and visuals ever more impressive.


But the writing... gods... the writing was fucking awful
