FOUNDRY | My Early Review and Should You Buy in 2024 (Alpha Build)

FOUNDRY is a Voxel Automation game. Take Satisfactory, Factorio, Dyson, and blend them with Minecraft voxels and you are getting close. I am playing Foundry in a very early Alpha build and even though it's alpha, I thought I would give an early review! In this review, I will give the game a grade based on the categories of Fun, Controls, Systems and UI, Story, Visuals, Audio, and Style. I also will make a determination on if you should buy the game, based on the type of game it is, the difficulty, value, and replayability.

You can dig up the ground and place your foundation blocks flush with the ground to solve the problem with having to jump up all the time

What is the end game of the game. For example dyson is getting a dyson sphere. Factorio is creating a rocket.

This seems like an interesting title. I worry about Paradox since their identity is releasing games in rough shape. Tyranny and OF Cities Skylines are the last good at release titles, and those are from 8-9 years ago, and they pretty much wrecked Cities. I guess Age of Wonders 4 was just last year, and it was very good, but it seems like the exception.

the game is a snorefest. If you played similar games there is no reason to pick this one up.
