The most Illidan thing that Illidan has ever Illidone

If the citizens of Azeroth were terrified seeing Argus appear in the sky, imagine how the Burning Legion felt upon seeing the world that had defied them for so long, that had defeated them not once, not twice, but _four_ times (counting the War of the Ancients, the 3rd War, BC, and Legion with Kil'jaden's death) appear in the sky above the very heart of their crusade.

It's entertaining to think that Khadgar is the youngest and most inexperienced of the people in this scene.

Besides the dialogue, it's amazing how with such subtle face expression and animation you can really tell the tragedy in Kil'jaeden's final moment. It's all there, sadness, disappointment, guilt, shame... you could isolate the last frames before he explodes and get that just by looking at his face.
Good job Blizzard, you really nailed that one!

I still find it awe inspiring that after everything, after 25, 000 years of being hunted, even after having his own son turned into a demon lord and being pit against him, and then watching him die, Velen still bore nothing but mercy and sorrow in his heart towards Kiljaeden. Velen understands that their positions could have been reversed so very easily. The only reason Velen saw Sargeras for what he really is and realized what accepting his offer would do to his people, was because of Velen's gift of foresight. Without that random, natural born gift, Velen too would have also been lured in by Sargeras' flawless, awe inspiring guise as perfect, golden god and his technically truthful promise to reveal the ultimate secrets of the universe. It was by pure chance of fate, rather than any triumph of character.

Velen touching Kil'Jaeden on the forehead, not to allow him to escape somehow, not to heal him (not that it would've worked), but as if to say "I forgive you" or "You needn't be envious of me" or even still, if he gave KJ a vision somehow, "The burden I carry is one we both know well".
