I believe it. It's narcissism vs care and respect and nuturing. Do they take their vocation seriously or as an opportunity to emberass and belittle their new partner... they should feed each other at the rehearsal dinner. If one smashes the cake, don't go through with the marriage

I have just fallen into this rabbit hole, and watched dozens of videos and read hundreds of comments.
It seems to be true, whenever a wedding planner or photographer commented, they confirmed that the couples where at least one of them got caked, didn't last.
I think it brings underlying, latent aggression towards the partner to the surface.
I personally couldn't imagine, if I really deeply love someone, to do that to him. On the wedding day, I would be so full of tenderness and awe and admiration, that it would be physically impossible for me to assault him, even not as a "joke".
Likewise, I would never do that to any of my pets or my baby, it goes against my inner feelings.

I would say if a guy thinks it’s funny to cake and a women doesn’t they shouldn’t even get married at all. Cause one thinks it’s harmless, fun, and the other things it’s physical abuse. It’s two people that are completely in compatible. Trust me, there are plenty of women who would love to be caked the face.

How is it funny? It's humiliating for the bride, and the waste of money, ruining a dress, and sowing distrust that the person can never be trusted not to make a fool of their spouse in front of every on else. I repeat, how is it funny?

Someone should tell my parents my dad had my grandmother made a small cake just to smashed it on my moms face the jokes was she did the same so it was a double smashed I'm over 50 they are still married praise God.
